AGD Solo

I've received my AGD Solo!

They're so heavy (20 kg / 44 lb each!) that they come in the usual Pelican, but this time on wheels...

And, as always with AGD, they come with a custom AGD power cord, much better than the usual junk that comes with most products.

I could use many audiophile words to describe these mono-blocks.

I prefer to say simply that these are the best power amplifiers I've ever heard in my 50 years audio journey.

They're not what you'd honestly call “affordable”... they're clearly “high-end”... but I've listened to reputable amplifiers costing a multiple of their price, but far less good...

After a few days' break-in, I experienced what has happened perhaps two dozen times in my life, among thousands of listening sessions, when I've been exposed to an exceptional component: “not being able to stop listening”...

At this level, the main danger is to find it frustrating to listen to anything “less good”... including to my other amplifiers!

This won't be a “real” problem, however, as their performances call for a new series of tests and listening sessions... an ever-renewed pleasure!

They'll probably never leave my listening room, ready to be discovered by anyone interested...
